Marvel at the planes from Dornier, aerospace technology from Airbus and other icons of aviation history in the Dornier Museum in Friedrichshafen. This includes lots of legendary aircraft such as the replica of the Dornier Wal flying boat, or the Bell UH-1 D helicopter in its full splendour. The model exhibition is also worth a visit.
The wonderful cycle paths in Upper Swabia guide you through the landscape around Weingarten. Embark on a tour through the orchards to Lake Constance. Special routes for more ambitious mountain bikers offer athletes fast-paced rides through the area.
